We use ‘cookies’ on our website to make your visit to our site more personal and also to keep track of how our website is being viewed.

We use both “session” cookies that are deleted from your computer when you close your browser and “persistent” cookies that remain stored on your computer until they have expired or been deleted by you.

A cookie in no way gives us access to your computer or any information about you, other than the data you choose to share with us. You can choose to accept or decline cookies. Most web browsers automatically accept cookies, but you can usually modify your browser setting to decline cookies if you prefer. This may prevent you from taking full advantage of the website.

We use Google Analytics to gain information received through cookies stored on your computer. This is used for analytical purposes about the use of our website. Google stores this information (please see Google's privacy policy). We therefore have access to information about your visits to and use of our website, such as your IP address, geographical location, browser type and version, operating system, referral source, length of visit, page views and website navigation.

What we do with the information we gather

We never have and will not share your information with any other companies unless we are required to do so by law, in connection with any legal proceedings or prospective legal proceedings or should we need to establish, exercise or defend our legal rights, including providing information to others for the purposes of fraud prevention and reducing credit risk.

Where you submit feedback for publication on our website, we may publish and otherwise use this in our marketing.

We require this information to understand your needs and provide you with a better service, and in particular for the following reasons:

  • Internal record keeping.
  • We may use the information to improve our products and services.
  • We may periodically send promotional emails about new products, special offers or other information which we think you may find interesting using the email address which you have provided.
  • From time to time, we may also use your information to contact you for market research purposes. We may contact you by email, phone or mail. We may use the information to customise the website according to your interests.

If you have previously agreed to us using your personal information for direct marketing purposes, you may change your mind at any time by writing to or emailing us at

Details of your orders (not your payment details) will be kept on your record within the website and will be available to you only. This will be stored on our secure password and firewall-protected servers, encrypted using SSL technology (please see Brightpearl's and Magento's privacy policies).

You are responsible for keeping your password and user details confidential. We will only ever ask you for your password when you log in to our website.

We have made every effort to ensure that Bat and Bottle provides a fully secure link for credit card payments (please see Sagepay's privacy policy). In addition, the details of your credit card are not held on record anywhere on the internet.

Please be aware that data transmission over the internet is inherently insecure and we cannot guarantee the security of any data sent via the internet.

Our website may contain links to other websites of interest. However, once you have used these links to leave our site, you should note that we do not have any control over that other website.
