The wine offers a typical expression of Castiglione Falletto in its perfumed ripe red berries, fresh flowers and spices, all supported by tannins that are finessed and firm at the same time. This is a poised, feminine Barolo of notable elegance.

Brovia Barolo Rocche 2004

AWARDS
WINE ADVOCATE OCTOBER 2008 93 POINTS
Brovia's 2004 Barolo Rocche reveals considerable depth in its aromas and flavors. The wine offers a typical expression of Castiglione Falletto in its perfumed ripe red berries, fresh flowers and spices, all supported by tannins that are finessed and firm at the same time. This is a poised, feminine Barolo of notable elegance. A touch of sweetness from the French oak lingers on the long finish. The Rocche is typically the most accessible of the Brovia single-vineyard Barolos, as it is again in 2004, yet today it is holding back quite a bit of its potential. Anticipated maturity: 2012-2024.
